As part of the Alumni Homecoming celebration, Batch 2000 sponsored a special event last August 30 to honor the dedication of our high school and elementary teachers. Held at Calle Ramos, the afternoon was filled with gratitude, fellowship, and care.
The gathering began with a hearty lunch sponsored by Batch 2000 with special thanks to Adrian Losanes, Vincent Cloyd Exito, Carl John Canada, and Marichu Doza, who made sure this gesture of appreciation was made possible. The food, meticulously prepared by Chef Kara Canada, was enjoyed in a beautiful setup arranged by the rest of the core committee and other batch volunteers. Every detail showed the thought and effort that went into creating a memorable experience for the teachers. In addition, Angelie Hinolan extended monetary support for the teachers, adding to the spirit of generosity that defined the day.

After the meal, the teachers joined an aromatherapy workshop facilitated by Certified Aromatherapist and Life Coach Balot Amechachura-Del Rosario, a proud member of Batch 2000. They discovered how scent can be a gentle tool to ease stress, restore balance, and bring a sense of calm. It was both a learning opportunity and a moment of relaxation for the group.
To mark the occasion, the teachers also had a photo shoot — a joyful way to capture memories of the event and celebrate their role as mentors and guides. Smiles and laughter were abundant, showing how much the afternoon meant to everyone present.
This gathering was more than just a lunch and workshop. It was a heartfelt expression of thanks to the very people who shaped our early years and continue to guide future generations. By honoring our teachers within the larger Alumni Homecoming celebration, Batch 2000 highlighted the lasting connection between alumni and mentors.
The day closed with joy, renewed bonds, and a sense of being valued. It was a fitting tribute to teachers whose influence continues to inspire across time.
