Treeplanting and Concert for a Cause

Last May 31, representatives from UNO-R Batch 2000 came together in EB Magalona for an activity that blended service, care, and fellowship. The day began with a mangrove planting, a quiet yet powerful effort to nurture the environment and give back to the community. Every seedling placed in the soil was a reminder of the responsibility we carry to protect what sustains us and to leave something better for the next generation.

The outreach activity that followed was another chance to extend help where it was needed most. It reflected the heart of Batch 2000 — a group that values not only its bond as alumni but also its shared commitment to being present where compassion and action matter.

As the day drew to a close, everyone gathered for a fellowship night at Villa Gorriceta. The atmosphere was light and joyful, made even more memorable by live music from our very own Shamoo Sapul and the Fuse band. It was a celebration of friendship, community, and the ties that continue to strengthen with time.

More than just an event, the gathering was proof that small acts can create ripples of meaning. Planting mangroves, sharing food, listening to music, and spending time together may seem simple, but in these shared experiences, we find the essence of what it means to belong to a batch that values purpose and connection.

Salamat gid sa tanan nga nag-upod kag nagbulig. UNO-R Batch Dos Mil. Padayon 💙💛
